Most Powerful Sleep Tea Recipe

Changing your health can be as simple as getting an extra hour of sleep every night. And I'm excited today to share my DIY recipe for the most powerful herbal sleep tea you can find!

Research shows that protecting your sleep not only helps you feel better. It's actually the overlooked cornerstone of good immunity.

Even one night of poor sleep (under 6 hours) can reduce natural killer (NK) cell activity by up to 70%, weakening your body's ability to fight viruses and cancer cells.

That's right! Your immunity goes down by 70% when you sleep 6 hours or less!

In another study, they found that people who sleep 7 hours a night or less are nearly 3 times more likely to catch a cold compared to those who sleep a full 8 hours.

So if you've been "winging it" and running yourself down recently, it's time to start dimming the lights at home an hour earlier, pull out that sleep mask, and commit to your nightly herbal Sleep Tea routine before getting into bed.

Most Powerful Sleep Tea Recipe Makes 150g

This herbal tea works to nourish your nervous system so that it can more easily relax and get you back into a good nightly sleep pattern.

What to Prepare:

How to Prepare:

  1. Place all dried herbs into a bowl and mix well.

  2. Take 2 heaped teaspoons of this herbal tea and place in a mug and pour hot water over.

  3. Cover the mug to keep in the natural volatile oils from the herbs and let it steep for 10 minutes.

  4. Add half a teaspoon of brown sugar or honey to taste.

For insomnia, you can "stack" your tea doses. Have 1 x cup at 5pm and another at 7pm to really relax your body for deep sleep. Taking this tea every day for a period of time can have a cumulative relaxing effect on the nervous system that helps reduce anxiety and sleeplessness.
